Why do kids whine? Can I tame aggression? Why don’t they listen the first time? Why do small frustrations turn into big emotions? Is discipline a necessary part of raising children? Do punishment and rewards work? This parent class offers a supportive space to explore the emotional meaning behind children’s everyday behaviors. It answers fundamental parent questions and explains commonly seen behaviors such as whining, complaining, not listening, tantrums, anger, and emotional meltdowns. Instead of focusing on obedience or quick fixes, we look beneath the behavior to understand the feelings and developmental needs driving it. Rooted in a psychoanalytic approach, this class helps parents build confidence, strengthen emotional connection with their child, and set firm, loving boundaries that support growth, resilience, and healthy emotional development. The event is for educational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or provide personalized clinical advice.
Open to All Levels This monthly Tarot Group meets once a month on Thursday and is open to everyone, from complete beginners to experienced readers looking to deepen their practice. Each gathering is different by design. Some nights we’ll focus on practice readings. Other nights we’ll slow things down for discussion, symbolism, and deeper esoteric themes. Sometimes we’ll follow the cards. Sometimes the conversation takes us somewhere unexpected. That’s part of the work. This is a supportive, curious space to: • Learn tarot fundamentals or strengthen your existing skills • Practice reading in a low-pressure environment • Explore symbolism, intuition, and esoteric ideas • Ask better questions and sit with uncertainty • Connect with others drawn to tarot and mysticism You don’t need to “know enough” to attend. You don’t need to read professionally. You just need curiosity and a willingness to engage. Bring your deck if you have one. Bring your questions. Bring your curiosity. The cards will meet you where you are.
