Welcome! Always in My Heart Counseling Services is your home for traditional telehealth therapy and horse therapy! What are our qualifications? Maribeth Flake, founder and therapist, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan. Maribeth has a history of working with children and families in home based therapy. She also has worked in a variety of mental health inpatient environments. After gaining experience as a outpatient therapist, Maribeth created her own practice and furthered her training in Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy through the HERD program. Now, Maribeth partners with Dallas for in person visits in Washington Twp Mi. This is similar to traditional therapy, but meeting at the barn with a horse partner. This program encourages individuals to open up and tune in with nature and our five senses. We serve individuals all over Michigan through our telehealth services as well. Individuals from Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair and Wayne Counties drive to see us for our in person horse therapy! Our practice specializes in children, adolescents, family issues, trauma, stress, depression, anxiety and more! We offer telehealth weekday evenings and in person horse therapy on Saturday and Sundays! Dallas and Maribeth cannot wait to join you on your wellness journey!
