Happy Hooves Wellness

Practice Overview

At Happy Hooves Wellness, we believe that healing and growth begin with a felt sense of safety, connection, and belonging within ourselves and in relationship with the world around us. Our work is rooted in the understanding that the body and nervous system play a central role in emotional and mental well-being, and that meaningful change happens through experience, not just insight. We integrate belonging-based coaching, experiential learning, and equine-facilitated learning to create opportunities for clients to explore patterns, build awareness, and develop new ways of relating to themselves and others. Horses and other farm animals offer honest, nonjudgmental feedback, helping clients regulate their nervous systems, increase emotional awareness, and practice authentic connection in real time. Our approach is especially supportive for individuals who feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or “out of sync,” including those who are neurodivergent. Through guided, hands-on experiences, clients build skills in emotional regulation, resilience, communication, and self-trust. Rather than focusing on fixing what is “wrong,” we focus on helping each person rediscover their capacity for presence, agency, and belonging. Clients can expect a warm, collaborative environment where curiosity is encouraged, autonomy is respected, and growth unfolds at a pace that honors the individual. Whether mounted or unmounted, each session is designed to support integration between mind, body, and environment creating lasting shifts that extend beyond the farm.
Healing, connection, and learning begins the moment we feel safe enough to belong within ourselves and in the world around us.

Corporate Wellness

Happy Hooves Wellness offers experiential, nature-based workshops designed to support employee well-being, team cohesion, and sustainable performance. Our programs move beyond traditional lecture-style training by engaging participants in hands-on, real-time learning experiences with horses and the farm environment. These workshops focus on nervous system regulation, communication, and relational awareness; all core skills that directly impact workplace culture, leadership effectiveness, and burnout prevention. Horses, as highly perceptive and responsive animals, provide immediate, nonjudgmental feedback, helping participants recognize patterns in leadership, collaboration, and stress responses. Organizations partner with us for: Team building & connection: Strengthening trust, communication, and psychological safety within teams Leadership development: Exploring authentic leadership, boundaries, and “power with” vs. “power over” dynamics Stress & burnout support: Learning practical, body-based tools for regulation and resilience Neurodiversity-informed workplaces: Increasing awareness, inclusion, and supportive communication strategies Programs are customizable to what you need as an organization. We offer two or four hour workshops. All experiences are facilitated in a supportive, non-clinical environment that encourages curiosity, reflection, and practical application back in the workplace. We partner with businesses, nonprofits, and educational organizations seeking innovative, research-informed approaches to wellness. Our overall goal is helping teams feel more grounded, connected, and capable in the work they do.
