About Me
I'm a Registered Art Therapist with a master's degree in Art Therapy from Wayne State University. I have spent more than 10 years working as a medical art therapist, with a special focus on oncology. Throughout my career, I've supported people navigating cancer and illness, grief and loss, major life transitions, changes in identity, and questions about what comes next. My work has also extended beyond the hospital walls. I've helped create community spaces where people could come together through art, process difficult experiences, and find connection and hope. These experiences continue to remind me that creativity can offer a meaningful way to explore emotions when words aren't enough. I believe healing isn't always about finding the right answers. Sometimes it's about finding a little steadiness in the middle of uncertainty and creating space to process what you're carrying. As an art therapist, I believe creativity can offer another way into the therapeutic process. You don't have to be an artist or know exactly what you want to say. Sometimes a color, image, or creative experience can help express something words cannot quite reach. Whether you're navigating illness, grief, pain, uncertainty, or a season of change, you don't have to figure everything out at once. We can start where you are.
