I graduated with my Masters of Arts in Counseling from Cornerstone University and has been a licensed professional counselor since 2021. I have also worked in the mental health field since 2014 serving in a variety of professional roles. I believe that the pursuit of mental health and wellness is like a journey through the wilderness. There are mountains to climb, and valleys to endure. This can seem overwhelming when done alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you to provide the support and guidance you seek on your journey to mental health and wellness. I am passionate about building a strong therapeutic alliance, creating an atmosphere of personal growth and development, and engaging with your distinctive story in a warm and caring environment. Your therapeutic journey is all about you; therefore, my approach is focusing on your needs. As our therapeutic relationship strengthens and we begin to identify areas in which you would like to grow, I will customize and incorporate theories based on goals that you set.
I am naturally curious and deeply value listening with the intention to understand. This approach shapes the way I show up in sessions—present, open, and attuned. I meet clients where they are, welcoming whatever they bring into the space, and view each therapy session as a collaborative space to thoughtfully create something meaningful together. On the personal side: I’m a native Michigander. I love to travel. I love the water, live music and theatre and smart humor. I grew up in the Detroit suburbs, spent some time out of state for University and returned back home to Michigan. I opened Daly Counseling & Consulting PLLC in 2020 just several days before the pandemic changed everything. My hope for all clients is not simply change, but transformation.
