About Me

Understanding your own story takes courage — and so does deciding to write a new one. I work with adults and teens who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, or struggling to navigate life's challenges. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, sleep difficulties, burnout, or a major life transition, therapy can provide a space to slow down, gain perspective, and move toward meaningful change. My approach is warm and client-centered, rooted in the belief that mental, emotional, and physical well-being are deeply connected. How we sleep, move, eat, connect with others, and respond to stress can all influence how we feel. Together, we'll explore the patterns, experiences, and daily challenges that may be contributing to your concerns while identifying practical, sustainable changes that support lasting growth and well-being. You are the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make choices that align with your values. Together, we'll explore what's holding you back, build on your strengths, and find a path forward that feels right for you. You don't have to keep figuring it out by yourself. When you're ready, I'd love to hear from you.

Background & qualifications

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with more than 15 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families in a variety of social work and mental health settings. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University and currently provide therapy to adults and teens throughout Michigan. In addition to my private practice, I work in a school setting, helping students navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, stress, sleep difficulties, burnout, and life transitions. I have completed additional training in areas including sleep and mental health, integrative mental health, and lifestyle factors that influence overall well-being. I am committed to ongoing professional development and staying informed about evidence-based practices that support meaningful, lasting change. As a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), I have a particular interest in how sleep, stress, movement, nutrition, and other daily habits can support overall well-being.
